讲座简介：

MDS codes and self-dual codes are important families of classical codes in coding theory. The existence of MDS self-dual codes over finite field F_q is completely solved for q is even. We give some descriptions on algebraic geometric codes to be MDS self-dual codes. In this case, construction of the MDS self-dual codes is equivalent to choose suitable algebraic curves and divisors.

主讲人简介：

李发刚, 博士毕业于中科院数学所, 师从代数几何专家孙笑涛/陈豪, 曾在暨南大学做博士后研究, 现任常州大学优秀青年老师，主要从事代数几何、代数编码、代数组合等方向的研究, 已在国内外重要杂志发表学术论文若干。
