讲座内容简介：
In this talk we consider the general structure of a finite group having the same set of orders of elements (isospectral) as a finite simple group. Starting with the history of the question, we address to the affirmative solution of the well-know problem posed by Shi Wujie in 1987. Then we focus on the properties of the solvable radical of a group isospectral to a nonabelian simple group and show that it must be nilpotent.
